About Honey Bear Trees

Honey Bear Trees began over 40 years ago, when a young beekeeper in Oregon began growing Christmas Trees on a lark. Hans, the beekeeper and now a tree grower, began giving away a free bottle of honey whenever he sold a tree. Christmas Trees and honey? Okay, to Hans it was a perfect combination. Since 1986, Honey Bear Trees in Redwood City has continued this tradition. We still give a free bottle of honey (while supplies last) with every Christmas Tree sold. And Hans? Well, he’s a little older now. He still grows Honey Bear trees and takes care of his busy bees. Some things never change. And, we’re glad.

Honey Bear Trees offers USA#1 premium trees from Pacific Northwest tree farms. Not only are we able to offer a large selection of trees, which include Noble, Fraiser, Grand and Douglas Firs, but we also have an exclusive tall tree program with premium tall trees from 10′ to 20′ in height! We provide local and immediate availability from our Redwood City and San Carlos lots. We are a full service tree lots which means we can assist with selection, cut, fireproofing, delivery, set up, removal, and recycling. Not only to we provide awesome trees, we also have wreaths, evergreen, garland, mistletoe, and tree stands. Pre-ordering is available and a great way to guarantee you get what you want, including your delivery date!

San Carlos, Calif., – One-of-a-kind Nothing Bundt Cakes − purveyors of nostalgic yet refreshingly modern Bundt cakes − is spreading its wholesome goodness to San Carlos and the downtown community. The newest bakery is located 864 Laurel St. in downtown San Carlos and will open on Friday, Oct. 28, with several official grand opening activities planned & YOU’RE INVITED! (click to see grand opening festivities!)

Nothing Bundt Cakes reintroduces an old family favorite – the Bundt cake – with a fresh, clean look that appeals to all ages. Each cake features custom concept cake decorations that are smart, contemporary and fun, customized to enhance any occasion. Nothing Bundt Cakes offers customers a wide range of cake selections, from Bundtlets – single serving cakes – to the larger Bundts that serve up to 18 people and tiered cakes, which serve up to 26 people.

“We are excited to further enrich San Carlos and all of the wonderful communities around our bakery by bringing Nothing Bundt Cakes to the neighborhood,” said Carol Basch, Nothing Bundt Cakes local bakery owner. “Partnering with meaningful organizations here, including the San Carlos Education Foundation, furthers our commitment and dedication to the city in which we live and work.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes staff instantly makes customers feel right at home with a friendly welcome.

“We’ve learned that Bundt cakes hold a special place in the heart of consumers across the nation, as many folks can remember a loved one baking a special Bundt cake just for them,” said Dena Tripp, co-founder of Nothing Bundt Cakes. “Our franchisees are not only an integral part our growth strategy, but they are also an integral part of connecting to the community through the love of the handmade Bundt cake. We look forward to a successful partnership and becoming part of this city.”
