The San Carlos School Board acknowledged the efforts of the San Carlos Education Foundation at its December 14, 2023 meeting. President Karla Donohoe and Executive Director Kathy Parmer-Lohan presented a check Board President Cassanego for nearly $2.5 million to supplement funding to support additional teachers and programming at all schools. In addition to this grant, SCEF awarded grants to school PTAs and San Carlos Charter. Grants totaled $3.1 Million for the 2022-23 school year.
These programs and positions help schools provide an enriching education for every student, every day in every classroom.
